Uddeim "nn" issue

Hi, I also have this problem and cannot understand after downloading the files what to do with them.

You do not need to download any files. Update to uddeIM 2.7 and check the plugin settings.

Hello. I'm using Joomla 2.5.3... I just updated to Uddeim 2.7 to correct the n and nn issue, but it still remains. I tried every combo of the unescape and double escape but it won't go away. Here is an example of a notification message:

It looks like I am having problems with both the n and nn issue.

The settings are only in place for new messages. Old messages are not changed.

Slabbi, I too was a bit confused but figured it out. View each of those files as text and copy/paste them into a PLAIN TEXT window; rename the files accordingly (pms.uddeim.php and pms.uddeim.xml)

Go to the following directory: components/com_profiler/plugin/user/plug_privatemessagingsystem(uddeimpms) and find those two files- Click to rename them and put -HOLD after the .php and .xml

Copy those two newly created files you created, and then you ought to be good to go.

Once you've made sure everything is working then you can delete the two with the -HOLD appended to them.
