Well, it is basically not a problem with uddeIM. What you need is a CB plugin which reads the data from the uddeIM tables and displays the messages.

The idea is quite nice. I shoud be possible with e.g. using the "forum plugin" as basis to write such a plugin in a few minutes (ok maybe hours but basically it is the same functionality).

Anybody interested in doing the job?

That would be good if it was available. It would enable us to have either a tab or something where they can log them and display similar to the phpbb message system. Sent,inbox,drafts ect...

Should I replace 'thisismypersonalsecretkey'

with a personal encryption key, such as a password or string of Base64? And if so, is there a limit to how many characters?
