uddeIM 1.5 released

So Itemid=4 is the correct item id for uddeIM? Do you have created a menu link to the component?

The last time I checked this type of error the admin has created an URL link to uddeIM manually but not a correct link to the component.

It is definitely a configuration error on your system and not a bug.

Well, the ID is 4, so that correct, but it seems to me that the url is wrong.

I get directed to

www.pagename/index.php?Itemid=4

instead of

www.pagename/index.php?option=com_uddeim&task=inbox&Itemid=4

I have actually created a menu item, but I left it unpublished, which I believe I read in the documentation is a possibility?

I just tried to publish it and now there's no problem. When I unpublish it the problem comes back.

Do I have to create a published menu link to uddeIM?

Yes, you have to create a published menu link to uddeIM. If this link should not be visible do following:
1. Create a new menu which is not displayed.
2. Create a published menu link to uddeIM in this menu.

9.2 “Unsupported operand types in router.php” error

Every time I send a PM in uddeim I get this: "Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in /home/mydomain/includes/router.php on line x"

Check following:

1.) Have you created a menu link for uddeIM? uddeIM uses this link to get the correct Itemid.

2.) Is the link to uddeIM published? If not you will get this error when uddeIM redirects after sending/replying a message. If you do not want this link published, create a new menu which is not displayed and create a published link to uddeIM there.

Yeah, I missed that.

The readme says:

"4. Create a menu link to uddeIM. This is important because uddeIM requires a unique Itemid. You can set the menu link "unpublished"."

Isn't that the opposite?

Anyways, the trick with a published link in a hidden menu took care of every problem, except that I still can't go to the inbox through the user profile of Fireboard.

I'm new to all of this, so bear with me. I just installed UddeIM with my CB. When I send a private message & chose to have an email sent as well. However, the email just says "go log in" and it doesn't give a link to our site. How do I add this? I want the user to be able to just click on a link and get back to the site to log in.

Sorry... here's another question. If I try to make a private message contact list, all of the names in our member list are sorted by first name instead of last name. How do I fix this?
