Copy users from J1.5 to J2.5

I have a website in Joomla 1.5 with CB 1.3 and 696 registrated users.
When I do an upgrade to Joomla 2.5 and use the newest version of CB, is it possible to copy al the registrated users with username, password, etc. to the new website without problems?

I hope someone can tell me....

I hope someone will reply soon to this as I manage 8 websites, all with Joomla 1.5.25 and I want to upgrade the sites to Joomla 2.5. I use Community Builder with all of them so I was planning on exporting the database and importing it to the new site via phpMyAdmin. However, I'm sure there are some tricks on how to do this...I will be watching for a reply...

Kyle has been working with the jUpgrade team to get jupgrade to migrate CB 1.8, Joomla 1.5 websites to Joomla 2.5.

Your best approach is to wait for CB 1.8 release and then use jUpgrade.

Please do not ask the obvious question "when" as the answer will be "when its ready".

Status of CB 1.8 is currently that we are ready to send CB 1.8 b2 to Developer members.

Then a CB 1.8 RC will be released to Professional and Developer members.

After RC phase a public CB 1.8 release will take place.

i'm busy with the same thing, got cb 1.8 and joomla 1.5.25, i want to upgrade to 2.5.3, but juograde is only for joomla, how do i go furder with cb??
Because jupgrade is making a new map with a complete new site in it.

Please specify the staps if you can.

the latest jUpgrade supports CB also.

it works...tnx nick, i had cb 1.7 still running, forgot to upgrade first.
