Copy users from J1.5 to J2.5

Dear Mr. Nant,

I used joomla 1.0 with CB 1.2. Now I want Upgrade to lastest version of Joomla and CB( Joomla 2.5.4 and CB 1.

Can I upgrade step by step as below?
1. Using Migrating tool for upgrade Joomla 1.0&CB 1.2 to Joomla 1.5&CB 1.2

Wow - you have really let things get old.

The only thing I can tell you is to take backups every step of the way.

Perhaps best to clone your website locally and try the process there first.

Regarding CB, you can upgrade to CB 1.8 on your Joomla 1.0 website if you want.

There are so many things that can go wrong, if you are not competent, then perhaps you should outsource this to someone else.

I cannot really give you a step by step, as it is a huge project imo.
