As announced, RC2 will be initially provided to our trusted supporters, who via donations and contributions have kept us going morally and spiritually. If you have donated money over at Mambojoe.com or you feel that you have contributed to the cause in some other way, please register as a Joomlapolitan over at www.joomlapolis.com and state in the relative registration field why you feel you should be given access along with some reference data (e.g., paypal proof, etc.). Your account will be approved (please be patient - we have decided on a manual approval approach to better manage these matters since human screening is necessary) and depending on you valid aurgument your profile field THANK YOU Release will be checked or not.

All THANK YOU members can follow the count-down to release via the countdown module located on the Joomlapolis home page. The RC2 release will be available via the Download area of Joomlapolis.

The list is by no means complete as there are a lot of minor "functional" related capabilities that would need a detailed specifications document in order to correctly describe and present.

Build 10 of RC2 has just been posted in our project area on the Joomla development site (2005.11.11). Only testers have access to it. This is anticipated to be the last build of RC2 and barring any major bugs found by our test team, it will become RC2 final to be released early next week (2005.11.14 - 2005.11.20).

The Community Builder 1.0 RC2 component now has a brand new logo. The design was contributed by Lou Griffith. Lou has done an excellent job with this logo and the CB Team is very happy and excited about the new look. Lou's Joomlapolis username is Loudog121. You can visit Lou's profile page and drop him a line by clicking here. Lou has been working with the CB Team offering to contribute his skills for the cause. The CB Team thanks Lou and hopefully this will be the begining of a long term collaboration.
