Does the User with ID 65 exist?

I set mine to 65 which doesn't exist and I get through the registration but no NextLevel emails same as you described.

I'm pretty sure there's an error message I'll have to step through it to see though.

Change those to 62 and let me know...

I also have Admin Approval off. I'm wondering if this affects how onBeforeUserActive is called.

Unfortunately CB does not have great docs on this sort of thing. So once the user confirms their email you've approved them and still no email. I'll have to try that and see as well. You'd think the same set of events would occur during registration in either case but if the execution paths are different in CB that might not be the case...

Just a follow up, that setting, Requires Admin Approval, doesn't affect the NxtLvl emails, I still got them after approving the user in the CB User Management screen.

As a follow up, there's definitely a check in my code for the return value from CB's sendUserEmail but I'll need to step through that to see if it's being handled or if the return code is being set correctly from the CB code...
