I don't quite follow... however it would be simpler if the username was the link...

i wish it were so easy, but just the way that shoutbox works prevents it.

i really havent done much modification to the shoutbox component, but i guess i should hack at it and see about changing how it handles links OR set up special codes to provide user links.

i think i could do it, but will be some work...
