Working on my new Status plugin...

First off I'm a php hacker. I have no formal training and I reverse engineer a lot of other code to figure out how things work. I want to learn the right way one of these days...

I'm working on my own Status plugin, like facebook's or the What Are You Doing plugin.

Basically I have it built. I can see my status in my profile and I can update it. It writes to the db and everything. I even set it up to display a form on my profile but just display the status on other profiles.

The problem is that I can't figure out how to make anything show up on any other profiles if logged in as anyone other than my self (super admin).

Yes I've set the ... HOLY SHIZNIT I think I just figured it out!

...wait a sec.

OHHHH!!! I figured it out! The plugin was set to "special" but the tab wasn't! I think it works!

I have it working! WOOOHOO! A whole day of work and I have something to show for it.

I need to refine a lot of things and the install is broken but I'll work on that too.

I've been putting a lot of work into it and it is close to done. I'd need to get it ready for prime time and a real install.

It is working great on The Golf Space so far with the component, plugin for CB and two different modules.

I'll keep you posted.

Hey thanks. Coming from you I'll take that as a compliment. Were you logged in so you could see the modules on the home page and the cb plug?
