Text area field truncate text

Just reinstalled the CB Core Fields Ajax plugin (V. 1.4.2), also checked the cb.core.xml file and the text-area is set as mediumtext; anyway I still have the check message in the CB tools

Don't know what to tell you then. It shouldn't be varchar, but be mediumtext. The tools check should also check that it's mediumtext and does so in all my tests. Only thing I can think of is a plugin overriding the fieldtype XML with a new fieldtype XML entry with varchar. The only way to see if it's a plugin causing this is to uninstall them as disabling them doesn't change the tools check. I suppose you can just ignore the tools check.

I think this could be' caused by some recent plugin update. I Will try with them first. Will i lose configuration disinstalling plugins?

Better to wait if it will be solved with future plugins update.

No idea, it'd be best to find the cause. You can find the cause by searching in an IDE the plugins folder for type="textarea" to see if something maybe overriding the fieldtype in XML.
