CB has no control over K2 name display. I believe when K2 is set to integrate with CB it uses either Name or Username and does not use the formatname field.

Hi!
I agree, however, since I activated CB, the author's name does no longer show... I understand about formatname. I understand that name could be the issue as it is not published and that name-fields publishing depends on setting in global CB config. However, I don't see how to change it under the global CB config.
Ajax Username checker turned off, name format: name only, name style: first, midd, last name...
The strange thing is that the author's name is OK in K2 modules display and in Joom Articles.... Yaakkkk.

I do not know how K2 handles name display with CB integration. You need to contact K2. I assume they're using Name or Username fields most likely and if they are then those too need to be public and published as well as set to display on profile. I instructed them to use formatname field, but can not recall if that's exactly what they implemented.

Hi Kyle,
Thank you. I will check again on K2 but it was not a problem until I installed CB.
Could you answer my question about the field "name" config that depends on the settings in global CB config?
Kind regards,
Agnes

and yes, I have read in and out the manuals...and Yes, you have the best support in terms of manuals, FAQ and documentation. But for a noobie like me, I feel that the manuals info could be improved. I started annotating them with additional details. I will share the annotations as soon as I pass the first test of going live with CB...

Firstname, lastname, middlename, and name fields depends on the CB configuration parameter "Name Style". They'll enable/disable based off this parameter.

There's always room for improvement and we've always believed in that philosophy. We're constantly working to improve our available products and will continue to do so to the best of our ability.
