[SOLVED] From EasyBlog Profile to CB profile for non registered User/Contact Page!!!

If "Users" isn't in the list of privacy options then you just need to enable it within backend. Navigate to CB > Plugin Management > CB Privacy > Config > Privacy and set "Users" to "Enable".

As is you've all profiles set to Public. The default is used to apply the privacy for everyone except your moderators. So everyone would be private and your moderators would be Public after manually setting them to Public.

This is the only documentation I have found so far!

CB Privacy plugin version 3.0.0

This CB 1.9+ compatible CB Plugin (installed via the CB Plugin Management panel) will permit you to setup (existing or new) CB Tabs and/or CB Fields to be controlled by profile owners in addition to full profile privacy. Extra fields for users to delete themselves or disable themselves are also provided. Just install (via CB Plugin Installer) and publish and look at the extra parameters added to your tabs and fields

Please see screen shots for what I believe to be the correct settings!

Every thing is still wide open!

You have a translation of Users to Private, which is why you didn't see Users. I've went ahead and configured it for you. Everyone is now Private except for the 1 user on the Contact Admin userlist who is now Public. To test navigate to the frontend of your site, without logging in, and go to your admin userlist; now click the 1 available user and you'll be taken to their profile. Now go to a normal userlist with all your users and click a user that is not the admin on the first userlist and it'll send you right back to the userlist with a popup error message (this can be configured in CB Privacy > Config).

You have no idea what this means to me. Wow.

I have tested it and it is working exactly as I want it.

Even when I select the admin from the Blog "Easy Blogger" I get taken from the Blog to the Admin page.

Have been using CB for nearly 7 years and this is the first time it does what I want it to do!

Could you please clarify

The very last thing that I need to get working is the Contact Page which goes to the admin page that you set up for me.

needs to go to

I know that you send something about this before and editing external and internal links bugs etc

I hate to say this but I see one more problem

When I click on the admin avatar I get to the profile even if I am not loged in.

Buttttt. And I am so sorry about this.

When I click on Send Email (I am not logged in)

I get

You are not authorized to view this page!
You need to log in.

Having got this far I sincerely hope we can get past this last issue

Where?

In one of your language plugins I imagine. Don't know where specifically your translation is though, sorry.

The very last thing that I need to get working is the Contact Page which goes to the admin page that you set up for me.

Looks like it's just a menu link to your Userlist. If you need it to go to a different userlist then just use an External Joomla menu item and use the URL supplied to you when editing a userlist (at the very top). If you need it to go to a specific users profile you can use the below URL structure in an External Joomla menu item.

index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userprofile&user=USER_ID_HERE

That's normal. CBs email form does not allow usage unless registered. May I ask why you're not using the Contact Us extension built into Joomla to allow users to contact the admin? It's completely independent from CB and can be used publicly or privately. At any rate if you need CBs email form the be public you'll need to look into a plugin called CB Public Mail (this is not developed by us) that allows public access to email form as CB has no such feature.
