[SOLVED] From EasyBlog Profile to CB profile for non registered User/Contact Page!!!

Literally running out the door. this is the quick answer.

I want Users to be able to see how at least one profile looks like before registering. At least that was my idea.

Can you please fix the Contact page so it goes to the admin profile.

I will look into the CB Public Mail option. If I can get it to work just for the administrator then I am a happy camper :-)

If I can not get CB "Public Mail" to behave as I want I will take down the contact page and replace with normal contact page. i.e.Joomla.

I suspect tath I am out of luck! Works on :

CB 1.4
CB 1.7
CB 1.8

I am CB 1.9 :ohmy:

Please understand I can not keep designing your site for you. This is outside the scope of support. I will change your menu item, but it will be the last change I make for you unless any future changes are bug related or investigation of an issue. We do not provide free customization; that is an additional service you may purchase if needed from the Membership tab of your profile.

I've changed your Contact menu item to point to your admins profile. The old menu item is still present, but disabled and renamed with OLD suffix encase you want to revert the change.

It works fine on CB 1.9 as far as I am aware. The author recently picked up development on it again and you can find his official topic below.

I understand your situation completely :cheer:

In Germany where I live there is an expresion “do what you are obsessed by.”

I am obsessed. I admit it. I can not help it. It was the way I was born!

But thanks to your help I have nearly closed a huge loop.

In my own anarchistic kind of way I find it good that people should register in order to contact me :-)

the plugin you recommended works perfectly.

It was seriously easy.

I installed it and it just worked.

The only minor change that I made was disabled the standard CB mail function as I had 2 options to mail people turning up on the profile.

amazing stuff

Last but by no means least...

As one of the points of this whole exercise is to get from an easy Blog Post to a CB Profile.

There is something that also needs to be set up in the

Easy Blog end!
