Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 2.5 then CB 1.8 to 1.9 and CBSubs to 3.0

What exact process did you use to upgrade?

For example CB 1.8 was not Joomla 2.5 ready, so I have no idea what implication this might have.

On your new site if you run all CB Tools in backend what do you see?
Any errors?

Checked all the databases, users and plugins via the tools section. Only two mismatch users was the only issue.

I am quite sure I had version 1.8 installed. Copied the tables over and installed a fresh copy of CB 1.9. Did not copy over site files for 2.5 version.

Direct database copying does not work without manual repair. All your usergroups and view access levels will be wrong. You need to go through all your plugins, tabs, etc.. and manually fix their ACL.
