Yes, forgot login works and forgot ID works perfectly. That does send the appropriate email. Also all users get an email when a new blog post is published. The only thing that doesn't work is sending the email with the new password after it has been reset.
Strange, something must be stopping the password reset process just before email sends. Please enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration. Once done re-test and see if any errors are present. If using CB Auto Actions please take note that acting on the after profile update trigger will also affect the password reset usage so maybe try disabling CB Auto Actions if in use.
