Yes, using a delimiter field you can add whatever substitution supported HTML you want. You can create delimiter fields within CB > Field Management. They will display on every users profile.

Users will not be allowed to upload content to the site directly. It must be edited in advance and will be loaded up by the administrator. Can I show them anyway and prevent uploads?
Yes, a delimiter field is just admin supplied HTML. It is only editable from backend in CB > Field Management. CB has no video upload feature. CB does have a file field provided by CB File Fieldtype plugin, but it sounds like you're doing all your uploads manually then just linking to them.

I could manage to create a delimiter-field. It is visible in the frontend's user profile, but I can't find it in the backend's user management. Three other (text)fields created in a similar way are visible and can be editied. What's wrong? Is there any special place to put it in?
Only delimiter field functions this way. Text fields are of course editable by the user unless you set them to read only.
