No, but next release will allow enable/disable of content plugins for delimiter field content. An administrator fieldtype with content plugin tags enabled would be a nice feature. Is it possible to reduce security settings?
You don't have to code anything. As explained it's just basic HTML.I decided to use Joomla and CB for this site, because there is no need for coding.
It can perfectly fine as explained. Please read my replies carefully.I've been told by your colleague, that CB is able to have media in user profile and bought CB for these features.

If they're in flv format it should work, but if they're mp3, etc.. it will not work as it does not create html elements for such type of videos. But it is apparently not working with locally stored videos. Am I right?
Please see the below on how to embed your own videos using a Delimiter field (you just supply your HTML to it).If the plugin works as you explained, it seems to me not to be a very promising endeavour to embed it "by hand" (HTML), too...
You can't use content plugins like Sourcerer in CB yet. Next CB release you'll be able to enable content plugins for delimiter fields. If I use the "Sourcerer"-tag <source> around <embed> in the editor text area, this is displayed in the frontend (youtube...)
