You have to edit them within CB > Field Management. You can't edit them from profile edit as they just render substitution supported HTML.

Delimiter fields display their content on every single users profiles. If you want user by user content you can use a textarea editor field and set it to read only, but you can't use substitutions in it. You can use any fieldtype you want actually and if you don't want it editable by the user simply set it to read only.
