Did that already and till the Community Builder tab is showing......

Hmm.. is this a re-installation? I wonder if the database retained the original data?
Here's a suggestion, albeit I don't know if it's a good one or not.
Open myphpadmin go to jos_comprofiler_tabs. Select "browse" and find the tab, "_UE_MENU". On the far right of the row you will see the three options that are giving you the headache. See if you can edit them. Of course you would only do this after BACKING UP YOUR SITE, RIGHT?
Dont come chasing after me wielding a machete if this doesn't work the way you want, but I think it will. You can also determine if you have two instances of the same tab by doing this.

Well it is an update from a 1.2.x installation.
I appreciate your suggestion but even this did not sort it out. I have no idea what is going wrong here.

If the tab is disabled within CB > Tab Management then it's impossible for it to still be displaying. CB won't even load the tab, anywhere. You've some sort of other pressing issue present if it's not respecting enable/disable. I've no idea what to tell you as I've never heard of this happening before. Perhaps you upgrade from 1.2 did not go so well as that's a massive out of date install. Try re-installing CB 1.9 over top of it self and see if that helps. Next run all CB > Tools excluding sample data and click any fix links that it provides.

Hmmm. Ok. I hope there is no misunderstanding. When I disable it, meaning that I unpublish it then the tab is gone. Unfortunately together with the edit tab. So I cannot do that. So basically it does respect this setting.
Me too I do not have any idea why CB behaves this way. And I have absolutely no idea how to solve this. At least to this regard everything was working fine with my 1.2.x installation.

Disabling it disables it also in profile edit. It completely disables the tab. You shouldn't put any fields on the Menu tab. At any rate if you want it to display in profile edit, but not on profile view then move it to a not shown on profile position.
