[SOLVED] expired subscription still active

The cron job is firing properly. I get an email notification that it ran, and it properly expires some of the plans, but not all of them.

Edit the subscription within CBSubs > Subscriptions (click the # under ID column) and review the actual database stored expiration date. Sometimes it can be a matter of hours, minutes, or the date is being offset on display and is actual 1 day away from expiring, etc..

Check you CBSUBS -> Settings -> Global tab

Look for the Mass expire subscriptions method: parameter and make sure that it is set correctly.

If it is set to CRON job only then it means that your CRON job is not firing properly.


The cron job is firing. I set it up to email me when it runs, and I get the email. In addition, it is expiring most plans correctly, but not 2 of them.

Please see my previous reply and check the expiration date of users subscribed to the plans giving problems. If expiration dates look ok then please PM backend super administrator login credentials as well as the name of the plans that are giving problems and can take a look.

When editing the user within CB > User Management it's showing as expired. However, within CBSubs > Subscriptions it's showing as active, which means it's active in the database. Does the plan still function for that user on frontend though? For example protect an extension or something of the sort with the plan then see if the user can still access it even though they're supposed to be expired.

Yes, and when you look into the status in MySQL, it shows as A.

I tested the user in the front-end. We have some blog functions limited to registered users, and this user is still considered registered.
