They changed the file format of your InnoDB to Baracuda from Antelope and you still have the same error as seen in your first post? Within your database using phpmyadmin click "Variables" then type "file format" to confirm the change is in place. Aside from that I don't know what to further suggest other that my original suggestion of delete fields and limit the amount of text in a textarea field, but with Baracuda file format it really shouldn't be an issue as the pointer size has significantly reduced allowing for more content in a row.

I realized I put this message in the wrong place. So here it is in the right place.

OK, since our last conversation... I upgraded and Siteground made the changes to the database. I am still having the same problems and my site is messed up again.

OK, I am back. I really need to solve this issue with the new Community Builder. It is NOT working! I am on Siteground.com, I am paying 50 dollars a month to be on their cloud with all of the perks, I just paid Siteground to upgrade our site to Joomla 3.0 from 2.5. I installed the new Community Builder and it doesn't work. It is full of errors.

I need this fixed before I purchase a CB Subs license. I don't want to spend money on something that won't work. Thanks for your help.

I created a ticket with this error.

Row size too large. The maximum row size for the used table type, not counting BLOBs, is 65535. You have to change some columns to TEXT or BLOBs SQL=ALTER TABLE `jos_comprofiler` ADD `canvas` varchar(255) DEFAULT NULL AFTER `avatarapproved`

To Siteground to see if they can help. I will also see if you have a response. Would like to get this fixed so I can go forward. I really like Community Builder, have been using it for years, and would like to keep it.

You have too many fields. CB 2.x can't install because of this. The row size is too large for anymore fields. You have to fix this manually by navigating to _comprofiler and converting varchar(255) columns to text type. Then change the table engine to Innodb. Now you should be able to install CB 2.x. If you still have very large textarea fields though you're still going to have this issue. It's a limitation in the database engine. There's nothing we can do to fix this except entirely rewrite how we store fields, which isn't happening anytime soon.
