I did this except I don't know what a Blob is. Now, I am reading that there might have been some 255 items I changed to text that I shouldn't have.

Text types only contribute a small amount of KBs to the column size limits. If anything changing to text would get rid of that and not cause it. Especially when changing varchar to text. CB 2.x has some new core fields though so it's going to try to add more. You need to ensure you've changed enough columns and changed the engine to InnoDB before attempting to install CB 2.x again.

If issue persists please PM backend super administrator login credentials as well as database login credentials and will take a look.

Right now, Siteground is looking at it. Thanks, if I have further issue after they look at it, I will send you the info.

I sent the info to you. If I can't solve this by tomorrow, I am going to have to restore with a back up and start over, and consider just returning my order and going forward the way it was. I just wanted to upgrade for the video sharing capability and captcha, but this is turning into more work than I have time to do. Not complaining, just being realistic.

Have reviewed your install and it's due to the file format set for innodb. You'll need to contact your host and have them set innodb_file_format to Barracuda. They will also need to enable innodb_file_per_table. Once done we can go from there. Without this the text table column pointers are taking up too much space. Your current Antelope pointers are 768 bytes instead of Barracuda 20 bytes. This is needed as you've way too many fields for the row size limit. The different file format will allow for significantly more and should get rid of this issue.
