My paid plans are Autorecurring, what will be the status of the user if he cancels the payment not from CBSubs on my website but from within his gateway e.g. Paypal? Is CBSubs going to detect the cancellation immediately or will it wait till the next payment to see that the payment is cancelled so it can put the user in an expired or cancelled state?

Thank you

CBSubs expires the user and then that same behavior will be seen. CBSubs expires them by triggering the expiration process. This is normally done by just visiting CBSubs backend now and again, but you can configure it for CRON or other methods within CBSubs > Settings > Global.

If the user cancels from PayPal their subscription it sends an IPN to CBSubs that tells CBSubs that recurring payments are cancelled. They'll then expire when their expiration date is reached.

Something is very wrong here.

When the VIP plan expires the User group is not changed and the user still shows as VIP which I don't want. It's OK if the plan is cancelled or unsubscribed but not if expires.

How to make the user group to change if the plan expires?

Currently if a user upgrades to a paid plan he is assigned to the VIP user group but if the plan expires he is still a VIP and shows in user list as VIP.

Can I use CB Auto Actions to handle usergroup assignments? How?

Please advise?

Thank you

OK, it was the "Renewable in advance by" option, which didn't let the plan to expire. Now is OK when made it non-renewable.

Thanks

If you need more control over usergroup assignment based off subscription state you can use CB Auto Actions to control the usergroup assignment. The below explains how to do this.

The problem is that the subscription state is not changed if "Renewable in advance by" is set to anything other than non-renewable.
