If you set "Collapse searchcriteria" on a list, to YES, then the userlist is first shown when you press the Search button - that is not intuitive, as it says 245 users - But they are not shown.
Please provide a screenshot of the issue. If no search is made it should show the count of all users that match the userlists filtering conditions.

It shows the count - but it does not show the users underneath - it makes no sense that the list first appears when you press the "Søg brugere" button - that is nonsense..
Still don't understand your configuration. Are you hiding empty searches or do you have your menu item to your userlist set to search only? Does creating a new userlist and toggling only that parameter cause this issue? Need a bit more information so I can duplicate and review the code to see what's happening.

That's the default parameter values. It sounds like your Joomla menu item has "Search Mode" set to "Search Only". Edit your Joomla menu item to your userlist and provide what value you have set for "Search Mode".
