Thanks Kyle,

CB Auto Actions is installed - I'll unplublish it although I have nothing in it that could trigger emails.

Just to be clear you're saying this is not the problem: "However, we did notice this setting, Unless it's the Emails Sent From on the General Tab in the Configurations? It could be switched to Admin and that would be sending from PHP instead of from the user."

Also, my global setting for email is "PHP Mail" --- "Sendmail" and "SMTP" are my other two options.

No, that just controls who the user to user emails are sent from. System emails are always sent from the system. User to user emails include emails such as the email form.

Are the emails exactly alike? Do you have any 3rd party mailer extensions of any kind installed? I don't know what else to suggest. Never hard of EVERY email sending duplicates. Registration email it's possible to send duplicates due to a Joomla configuration, but that's the only one.

1. Yes, emails are exactly alike.
2. No 3rd party mailer extensions.

For example as the admin I get 4 duplicate emails for changes to a users profile. I can live with this for now. The showstoppers are the 4 duplicate emails being sent to my members from Mailer. I have 7 different emails set-up in sequence - they are getting 4 copies of each email sent to them.

Wait, so your admin is receiving emails from user edit? That doesn't exist in core CB unless you've say 4 image fields that all need approval and all 4 were changed at once. Are you using CB Profile Update Logger? If so please try disabling it.

Does a regular user who registers through frontend receive duplicate emails? As in do they receive multiple Welcome or Pending emails.

The showstoppers are the 4 duplicate emails being sent to my members from Mailer. I have 7 different emails set-up in sequence - they are getting 4 copies of each email sent to them.

This is most likely a mailer configuration issue. You need to edit your mailers and adjust "Automatically send message at following date" as well as "But do not send message if it's later than" to prevent them from overlapping. See the below for example.

1 Month Notice
Automatically send message at following date: 1 month before
But do not send message if it's later than: 2 weeks (12 days) before

2 Weeks Notice
Automatically send message at following date: 2 weeks (12 days) before
But do not send message if it's later than: 1 day before

1 Day Notice
Automatically send message at following date: 1 day before
But do not send message if it's later than: 3 days after

You may also want to set "Maximum messages per customer (0=unlimited)" to 1 to limit the mailer only working once for a customer, but shouldn't need to if the mailer queue processed properly and put logged them as being emailed already.

Yes admin is receiving 4 emails from user edit like changing password. I will disable CB Profile Update Logger.

No. Just one welcome email is sent.

This is most likely a mailer configuration issue.

Please see attached screen grab for trigger settings. All email use these settings except for a change in the timing.

One other question. Mailer "priority" is populated with "3". That couldn't be doing it. Could it?
