Hello and thank you for your reply,

We tested with regular accounts (both just registered users) and it does not work.

We are not sure to understand your second sentence.

Can we give you credentials so you can test by your self?

If the field you're searching is not being directly protected by privacy controls and you're expecting profile privacy field to do it then you need to configure profile privacy field to actually do that. Edit the Profile Privacy field within CB > Field Management then under Parameters > Display select the fields you want it to also protect using the "Include Fields" parameter. If you haven't done this then all profile privacy does is block access to view the profile directly; it won't block field usages outside of the profile without configuring that parameter.

Hello and thank for your reply,

The fact is now we are just lost including because our "technical" english is not good.

Can you do it for one field so we can understand what do we need to do?

Navigate to Components > Community Builder > Field Management within Joomlas backend. Once there find the "Profile Privacy" (profile_privacy) field and click it to edit it. Next select the Parameter tab followed by the Display tab. You should see the below.





Click the "Include Fields" parameter. You now need to select the fields you want to be protected externally (outside of the profile) by the Profile Privacy field. So for example if I want my "Country" (cb_country) field to be protected by Profile Privacy I would select it here. You can also select entire tabs of fields using the "Include Tabs" parameter.

We just can not find Profile Privacy plug-in. It is not present.

You need to navigate to Field Management; not Plugin Management. Fixed my above reply, sorry.
