I have been able to implement MFA, but I have a problem using it through 'Edit Profile' menu in CB. It gives me a 403 error.
I created another menu item and selected Joomla's 'Edit User Profile' option - which works fine.
If possible, I would like to remove it from CB's menu (I need your help for this), and show the Joomla menu iterm only.

It gives you a 403 error when you do what exactly? It should work from CBs profile edit as it does from Joomla's profile edit.

Clicking the "Add a new YubiKey " button does this or clicking Save after reaching the YubiKey form? Seams to be working fine in my tests. A 403 error is a forbidden access error though so my guess is you've a permissions problem somewhere.

If you still want to hide it from CBs profile edit though simply edit the "params" field in CB > Field Management then under Parameters select "Multi-factor authentication" in "Hide Parameters".

Yes, the Joomla menu item works fine. I have been able to add a yubikey.
Another point to note - the URLs are identical in both cases.
For now, I will hide the MFA option in CB.

I have been able to identify and resolve the authentication issue.
We used QuickStart to get going and modified the menu items by rearranging, repositioning and/or changing access. 
The problem was resolved by resetting the menu system (modules, menu and submenu items & access) back to its initial configuration.
