I use Filezilla for ftp transfer. Could you suggest to me a software for binary mode FTP?

The component does't function even if I don't open the file...but when I tried to edit it I used Notepad++. Do you think it's ok?

Notepad++ and Filezilla are fine. Are you sure that the access rights for the language files are correctly set (try 777 when you are unsure)?

:dry: I set 777 access rights as you suggest but it gives to me the same error.

What can I do? I like Uddeim and I have used it in joomla 1.5 with no problem!

Don't know. Can you post the first few lines (3-4 lines) of italian.php please? The error says that there is an unexpected end in the first line.

Since it seems to work with the original file you have to live with the original text if you cannot change it.

I can attach to you the file but consider that if i download the file from ftp and without open it I upload it with ftp the error appears...it view the error when I refresh the file...:S

Please ensure that you upload the file in binary mode.
