uddeIM 2.5 beta has been released

I get this when I try to install the (non-english only) component:
JInstaller: :Install: File does not exist /PATH/tmp/install_4e31175695be7/com_uddeim_j16/site/admin.uddeim.php

THe english only installs without errors.

It is a first time report, so maybe Joomla failed to unzip the package after upload (cpu time limit, number of files reached etc.) or you have tried to install the 1.6 package in J1.5.

I installed uddeim2.5beta on j1.7stable with cb1.7RC
I had to install it via directory.
It says: installing ok but failed to build admin menus.

Ok I just found an solution for j1.6. I will try. =>
uninstalling, cleaning database,reinstalling
It doesn't help!

Strange, so the question is: What differs your Joomla installation from others?

I assume folder rights are fine, so Joomla installer can copy the files.

administrator/components/com_uddeim files are all there
components/com_uddeim files are there too.
I am using the official templates.
Only in backend I don't find uddeim

Have you tried to use "_english" only package? You can add other languages after installation. Please clean up the database again as described in the "1.6" sticky.
