Messenger Status Indicator Plugin Release

Hi I downloaded the onstat plugin from the main downloads section and like many others it seems, found it didnt work.

Having found this thread it seems I need to uninstall it and install the later version.

Problem I am a total noob - can someone please tell me step by step how to delete the first copy cleanly so I can install the new one please ?

can't you uninstall it in the pluin Manager (component - Community builder - Plug ins) ->mark it in the List -> then delete?
Otherwise you can create the missing Field (cb_SKYPE) and upload the files manuel into joomla / components / com_comprofiler / plugin / user / plug_onlinestatus / for example with joomlaexplorer.

A litte question to all: Why are the files in the download Area not updated? Here are many files with skype included and working Server.

I just installed you plugin but all I see in the profile is the name of the messenger services as links. No symbols for offline or online or anything.

This server has stopped its service

A list of working online status servers can be found here:

If you want the online status servers listed there, simply replace the <params> section in the XML file of onstat, de-install it and then re-install it with the changed XML
