User Mp3 Player Profile Tab

nant's profile gallery allows file uploads of any kind of you change the type in the plugin adminstration and also change the view to file list layout

then open up cb.profilegallery.php and insert a flash button player from musicplayer.sourceforge.net ( XSPF ) into the foreach statement about where it handles the filenameurl or something like that....just pass the fileurl to the flash mp3 player

I am unable to make an installer module, but I can post the cb.profilemusic.php Ive made for reference.Also, as you can tell by the filename, I've cahnged every occurance of gallery to music. It's quite a hack job, but my 1st experience in coding for joomla. I did however create some exra fields in #__comprofiler_pgprofilegallery database field to add some more paramters, both on uploading a song and for display, and also i did some paypal things because I made a shopping cart module ( my first module and shopping cart ) so people can buy the songs

I was thinking about the same thing this weekend, how I can add a tab for an MP3 player to user profiles and allow them to add playlist. I was actually thinking more of a podcast feed.

It seems to work well I'm just not sure how to make the plugin/tab part work.

the MP3 player is not a CB plugin, I'm trying to figure out how to make a plugin at this point.

It's a joomla bot you can find on the Joomla extentions site, it's named botpod.
