er joogle install probs

okay got joogle, installed it then realized i had to edit the xml first, so i uninstalled it, edited the xml with my google api, then tried to reinstall it and recieve the following error

mm... k guess this component isn't going to work. Is there another "free" cb plugin that can do gmaps similar to joogle.... ?

Delete the lat and lon fields in the jos_comprofiler.

It will install successfully then.

So far I love it. But I don't know how to get the map to update when a user updates their profile.

How to actually use this com_joogle?

I have it installed without problems, it uses hardcoded database fieldnames so I edited those.

My api key is updated and all is fine - except, when clicking the menu link to com_joogle - the page is just blank. Like an empty content item, the template is there without anything in mainbody.

I saw the GmapFinder plugin had this js-link to init the map manually. I think this is whats wrong, as the html is all there, but I get a grey box instead of the real map. Anyone know any other fix?

Can you share your edits made to the fields?

The only issue I've seen so far is that the map does not update.

Currently there is no way for the map to update if the user updates his or her address info except by the admin manually deleting the lat and lon of the user in the database. I haven't had time to crate an edit form for joogle, so it relies completely on the CB user edit form.

I appreciate any feedback/help i can get on this.
