If i enable URL rewriting in Joomla it crashes....
That's because your htaccess file is not valid. All you have in it is PHP version switch. It isn't enabling mod_rewrite and it doesn't have the base rewriting rules. You need to use the one included with Joomla and add the top add your extra htaccess changes like PHP version switch.
If I turn SEF on, it doesnt let you log in and give you that error messgae, if you click a email link to form on a profile, it gives you error message even though profiles are public.

This is being output by JEvents and has nothing to do with CB. There's a setting in JEvents that for some reason is blocking access. See the below topics regarding this.

Even with "Enable User Authorisation" disabled you still have rewriting issues due to broken SEF configuration and relative URL usages.
With SEF off, some of the functions dont work properly.... Its a mess.....
Then you used SEF URLs throughout your site instead of supplying non-SEF and letting Joomla properly SEF them. This will continue to cause problems. Always link to non-SEF URLs in menu items, redirects, etc.. You also used relative URLs in several locations, which doesn't work in Joomla when SEF is used due to domain prefixing (this means your images with /images/IMAGE.PNG won't work, you need to include the livesite path).
Your issues don't appear to have anything to specifically do with CB, but incorrectly configured SEF plus a conflict from JEvents. Please review the Joomla SEO documentation carefully to correctly configure SEF with rewriting usage.
