One last question - Is there a way to move up the CB scripts to above the JCE scripts so they run?
No. I'm not sure it'd matter given there's a syntax error coming from somewhere in the header.

Not sure if JCE will get a fix, so I have been experimenting with TinyMCE.
One issue: The CMS Content dropdown is not showing in TinyMCE when editing a user in CB. The dropdown shows when editing articles in front and back ends.
Thoughts?
Editor fields don't support CMS Content. Some of those features require higher permissions to allow media uploading and management. Some require content plugins to process them, which editor fields don't support. Editor fields are not a replacement for articles.
