JCE Editor Dropdown selector hang-ups/frozen

I switched to TinyMCE and when the field is opened then closed or saved, then opened again, TinyMCE shows code, not WYSIWYG.

What do you mean by open, then closed/saved, then opened again? How are you editing your editor fields?

Editing a displayed user's profile in the front end.
When I say Open, I mean clicked on a field in the front end - and working on a displayed user's profile.
Then save, cancel or close the editor window. Then reopen the same field's editor window a second time.
In JCE editor window, if a dropdown is activated, like Style, the second time you reopen the same field's editor window and select Style again, the dropdown freezes. If you haven't used a dropdown, it works fine.
But when you close the editor window again, then click on the field again to reopen the editor window, any dropdown (like Style, Font Size, etc) you have previously selected freezes the dropdown.
For TinyMCE - anytime you click on an editor text area field, then save, cancel or close the editor window, the next time the same editor text area field editor window is opened, it just shows code.
Issues only appear during same session and same editor fields. Other editor text area fields are not affected, until you click them to open their editor text area window.
So the first time you click each field, it works. The second time, etc the issue appears until the browser is refreshed or the account is closed, then opened again.
The 2 files I sent previously (and re-attached here) show the difference in the <div>s from the first time the editor field is opened and the 2nd time it is opened.

Ok, so you're using CB Core Fields Ajax and editing from profile view? Is that correct? Does everything work fine and as expected from profile edit?

Yes - using CB Core Fields Ajax and editing from profile view.
Everything is done from the front end accessing profiles (in the screenshots I have shown, the profile is /cb-profile/abc.html).
Profile edit is never accessed to edit an account, so not sure. But in my case it is kind of irrelevant. But - I did try it, and it does the same thing - at least with TinyMCE - second time the editor window is open, it just shows code.
I also tried an editor text area field in an article and module and got the same results.

Then this is a bigger issue than just CB. You might have a caching problem is my best guess. Are you using Joomla page caching? If so disable it and clear the cache and see if that fixes it.

Back to your JCE issue. So the dropdowns being stuck are during ajax editing. Does this mean a dropdown is open then you click the cancel or update button and the dropdown isn't closed? If that's the case then we might be able to implement a workaround for that.

My system cache is already disabled but I do have Page Cache - RSForm! Pro enabled, but disabling it did not help (I cleared my browser's cache and also tried on a different browser to ensure).
For JCE - a dropdown is selected and works as normal the first time. Then if you close and reopen the same field and select the same dropdown, the dropdown selection box stays on the screen. Even when you close the editor window. But again, only for that particular field. If you select other editor text area fields to edit, it works the first time, then does the same thing.
It also only does it for the specific dropdown. So if you didn't use Font Size and clicked it to edit, it works fine - even if it is not the first time the editor window has been opened. But the next time you click Font Size, the dropdown for it will freeze. You can click multiple dropdowns and even if you do not change anything, the dropdown selection box freezes the next time you open the editor window and select the dropdown .
So - only dropdowns that have been selected (not necessarily used, but selected to see the dropdown) are affected the next time you open the same editor text area field.
