Ok, check the archive and you will see that it is 100% correct. When you find a bug, please report it here.

There are several issues when Joomla does not find a package. In most cases the installation script times out.

Perhaps, but the fact in this case is that the installation script is not timing out.

As I said before find the bug and I will fix it.

I am pretty sure that everything is fine because uddeIM has been downloaded approx. 4000 times in the last three days and there are three reports only (the same was reported in 1.6 and all other versions from a number of people only, so if there is a problem with the XML, the archive or whatever there would be more reports).

G'day

I have installed the really cool 1.7
Everything seems to work !!

When I compose a message they get it, but when I return a message I get a fatal error

Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in /home4/kymtroni/public_html/nswpba.com/includes/router.php on line 140

But they still get the message ?

Also in the component admin in joomla 1.5.8 I get this at the top

Important: You have not updated your database! Please refer to the README how to update uddeIM correctly!

Thing is I did not update, it is a fresh install ?

Anyone else had this configuration of problems ?
If so would love some info on solving

cheers

uddeIM checks if following DB fields exist:

table __uddeim_userlists
field "global"

table __uddeim_spam
filed "mid"

table __uddeim_emn
field "locked"

When one of these fields is missing you will see the message. Can you check which field is missing?

Have you used uddeIM before?

G'day

Sorry I may have indeed installed b4 when I started the project - so have gone through all the upgrade readme's

Yeagh all the fields are there, but these

`jos_uddeim_emn` ADD `locked` INT( 1 ) DEFAULT '0' NOT NULL ;

`jos_uddeim_userlists` ADD `global` INT( 1 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0';

`jos_uddeim_userlists` ADD INDEX ( `global` ) ;

which I think I just did ?

SQL query:
ALTER TABLE `jos_uddeim_userlists` ADD INDEX `global` ( `global` )

and I think that has nailed it - have sent reply with no error, but will not find out if recieved till everyone wakes up in Australia.

I have not used b4 or joomla or php admin - has been a long week !!

CB and joomla and all the plug-ins are all awesome though !!
And so is the support.
thanx heaps
