Joomla 3.9.2 is here - a security and bug fixes release!

The Joomla project team has recently released version 3.9.2 that addresses 4 low priority vulnerability issues and several bugs and improvements.

Community Builder 2.4 (latest build) and all Joomlapolis add-ons work just fine with Joomla 3.9.2. You can see everything in action on our demo site.

The Joomla 3.9.2 is a highly recommended upgrade for all Joomla 3.x series sites. As always, before any Joomla upgrade on your live website, take a backup just in case anything goes wrong.

Community Builder can be freely downloaded by all registered members

We just released Community Builder 2.4 with 9 new features and 6 bug fixes.

Community Builder 2.4 is a features release that is a recommended upgrade for all CB sites.

Our demo website has already been updated to Community Builder 2.4, so you can see it in action along will all our Joomlapolis add-ons.

Of the new features we would like to highlight the following:

• Integration with Joomla 3.9 privacy suite including privacy policy, terms and conditions, user delete request and user export request.
• Export feature has been added to CB User Manager supporting CSV, XML and JSON formats.
  Just checkbox the users you would like to export and click on the new export button to select export format and download file.
• Import feature lets you create new users or edit existing users.
  Specifying an ID column lets you update user data. Files without ID column will create new users.
• Completely improved CB terms and conditions fields: CB terms and condition fields now track user consent (the date conditions got accepted). Consent to continue browsing the site can be required (if enabled in CB system plugin). This allows to force users to accept terms (or leave the site, same as Joomla privacy policy has implemented) except it works with as many terms and conditions fields as required by the website.

As always, you should first test on a cloned environment before upgrading your production site.

Joomla 3.9.1 is here - bug fixes release!

The Joomla project team has just released Joomla 3.9.1 that has 43 bug fixes.

The latest nightly build of Community Builder 2.3 and all Joomlapolis add-ons work just fine with Joomla 3.9.1. You can see everything in action on our demo site.

As always take a backup and test on a cloned site before you upgrade on your production site.

There are also some improvements in Joomla 3.9.1 including:

• Com_privacy: Redirected to the privacy request form after login
• Update to TinyMCE 4.5.9
• Performance improvement for the category and tag managers
• Preventing the System Privacy Consent plugin from running when logging out through a menu item
• Content - Page Break plugin: Possibility to use a template override for Previous/Next pagination
• System - User Actions Log plugin: Removal of the number of days limitation

Community Builder 2.3 is a feature rich release that is a recommended upgrade for all CB sites. As always, you should first test on a cloned environment before upgrading your production site.

Our demo website has already been updated to Community Builder 2.3, so you can see it in action along will all our Joomlapolis add-ons.

Of the 23 new features we would like to showcase the following:

• The Private Messaging plugin in CB now has an internal mode switch and no longer needs (but can still integrate with) uddeIM
• Updated to Bootstrap 4 (getting ready for Joomla 4)
• Age validation for date fields
• New Yes/No display for checkbox fields
• New Button mode for multicheckbox fields
• Many user interface and usability improvements

Joomla 3.9 is here - the Privacy Tool Suite release!

The Joomla project team has just released Joomla 3.9 that has over 250 improvements and the highly anticipated Privacy Tool Suite.

The latest nightly build of Community Builder 2.2.1 and all Joomlapolis add-ons work just fine with Joomla 3.9 also when the Joomla privacy tool suite is enabled. You can see everything in action on our demo site.

The CB Team is preparing to release Community Builder 2.3 that will have have the new private messaging functionality and Joomla 3.9 compatibility.

We are working on Comumnity Builder 2.4 including a new free core CB Joomla Privacy plugin that extends the Joomla 3.9 Privacy features.
