Okay, it's fixed... just a matter of adding cols=40 to the textarea fields in the module's XML file.

I also included a readme.txt in the zip, and made a note about pasting the example CSS inside the readme into the site template. The CSS is intended to give the avatar columns some breathing room.

So...this is now released as version 0.2.0 The only real changes are frontend and backend compatibility with Firefox. If you're happy with the way it looks on your site now, you need do nothing. The changes are mostly superficial. There are no changes to logic by which the matrix is created.

If you want the new one, uninstall the old one first, then install the new module. It won't remember your previous settings, but it should only take you a minute or so to reproduce the previous set up.

I've got it installed and working. Still have the strangeness of some names not showing up and they're not that long. Some names that are even 4 digits don't show up.

I made the text for the usernames very small too which helps.

One other thing I did was take out the code that displays the search title. A newer revision might be nice where it gives you the option to turn that on or off. If you use the module title it's kind of redundant to have a 2nd title.

OK now....

when I select sql query string #3 (newest users) I get this:

/home/mysite/public_html/modules/mod_avatar_matrix.php on line 90

With regard to the titles, provide a link to a live example and I'll take a look.

Did you try using a space as the title, or setting the CSS for the paragraph element to display:none? That would turn off that the title without requiring you to hack the code.

With regard to the 3rd SQL statement, unfortunately, I'm covered up with work and will have to troubleshoot that when I get time.

Thanks on the css tip.

I've disabled the module for now since I wanted to use it for random avatars and that's where the error was. I'm using a different mod now.

No problem. If you get time, post a live link. Would like to see it in action. The usernames are simply put on a new line with a <BR> followed by the username...so it's not exactly rocket science, but I haven't had a problem when I give my columns enough spacing.
