Profile Badge Plugin

It would be nice if the code could be rendered into in image using PHP that way you only have to post the image code instead of all the html

gdmedia is something i havent worked with

i guess it would be like doing a watermark with the profile gallery

this would be the perfect way to get it under 300 chars for people....

i have been in contact with switch, and i believe that he is game for me to take the spearhead on this project for a while...

the list of updates to come in a basic order i can see is this:

1) fix admin side sef function call....
2) set up the gdmedia to take profile thumbnail and admin provided graphics to make an image instead of long code
3) set the code to make that image once and keep it (saving on server load)

anything else?

i will definately need help with the image stuff, as ive never actually used gdmedia or other image stuff.

Great concept!

Two requests:
• The ability to use the member's name or username. On some sites the members do not want their real name posted. In CB, you can choose to either or both.
• The ability to add the site logo or banner to the badge as well.

that seems like a great idea....

im going to load that code today and play with it.... see if i cant make username/realname an option, and i will try to hack other image gallery code to see if its possible to make it all as an image instead of a bunch of code...

mostly, gonna make every move to get the badge code under 300 chars

Hello,

first: I like this plugin!

But I have some problems with it. If I´m going to look up a profile in the backend (User Manager of the CB Component), I´m getting:

Any Idea?

yeah, ive gotten the code close to re-release, ive been busy with work....

i wont be back online today until about 5pm CDT

when i get back i will work on this plugin some more....
