I have not put that code as is in next release. Only a plugin-event call.

The code as is is not universal, as it uses fixed field names.

I prefer much the plugin-approach, as it keeps the core simple and slick, while allowing multiple uses of the events provided.

Our core component is quite self-explaining to configure, and we would like to keep it so.

Anyway, stable is not far away anymore...

I agree. The core code shouldn't have to much "bloat", there's the plugin system for

The hardcoded fieldnames are there because it was a quick fix I made, not a real plugin or so.

And Beat, stable not far away. You shouldn't have said that, now I'm not going to be able to sleep anymore (grmbl, saturday Jinx showed the premiere of Joomla 1.5, now Beat with this announcement. my poor heart ;) )

yes most of the users use ie. i am a webdesigner an now i make the sites ff compatible. most of the things that are displayed correct in Firefox are correct to in IE. an not turned around.

excuse me? i have experienced it just the other way round, man. ff displays great then i open IE and it does what it wants.. read up on common experts opnions.. everybody complains about IE should i say, right?

anyway.. this project would be really really great to be continued and brought to an end! i love the idea and i love templates... people are probably put off first because they have enough work getting one cb template match properly with site style...
go on!!

wow guys , this is soo cool!!
i highly encourage going on and make a plugin for it! would be nice!
after all each individual members has his own likes on templates looks!!

i wonder if it can be even more nasty , like member can make his own template where user picks colors and such as he/she likes to see in his profilepage template B) ...
there are many template generators in web.

keep it up

does CB have it own templates? does it not just accept the joomla template?
