Kyle,

perhaps is any of my configuration, but...

what you say is true when user is logged, but when you load activity tab in any profile without login. It's not showing user activity, it's showing all "open" activity...

and when I use [cb:usertab tab="34" user="351" /] in cb content module, if anyone is logged (so non registred user) it's showed "open" groups info, if anyone is registred show information of the registred user ....

pelase, try your test, but without loggin.

thanks

Your groups are publicly visible when not logged in. All 3 access is set to Everybody and they're either Open or Approval. You need to disable Public display of various integration tabs or change the access to Registered if you don't want them publicly visible. It's working exactly as intended; it can't determine someone is banned from a group if they aren't logged in.

Kyle, sorry but I don't understand yet...

using you exemple: For example I placed Demouser 6 in Group 10. I then logged in as Demouser 1 and joined Group 10. I then posted on the Wall. I then set Demouser 6 as banned in said group. Now I logged back in as Demouser 6 and couldn't see the wall post activity. None of this matters though if the user is the owner of the category or is a site moderator as they're exempt from being banned.

Without register, I go to see Demouser 6 profile activity tab, and ... Demouser 1 wall post is showed in Demouser 6 activity tab....

¿?

So is like a "mirror" where is showed not the own face (demouser6 face) but is showed the face for the people who watch the mirror (in this cas non-registred user)...

really, I don't understand.

So when you say: it can't determine someone is banned from a group if they aren't logged in. really I'm dont expect to see not logged user, I expect Demouser 6 profile activity tab.

sorry again, maybe I have a bad week ....

Don't understand your issue. It doesn't show that specific users activity unless you configure it to do so. Navigate to CB > Plugin Management > CB Activity > Config and review the configuration carefully. I don't know what more to tell you; it's working perfectly fine in all my tests and for numerous other users.

Hello Kyle,

really I think that I'm not using it in correcte way, but... also I think that anything is strange...

Really I wanna show an group activity (or group + nested ones), not user activity. For this reason I try to join a user only in one group, and show his activity, but not works because also show other open groups activitiy.

are there no way to show group activity?

If not, it could be good for next releases.

You would need to disable all activity except GJs within CB > Plugin Management > CB Activity > Config > Activity. Now set the Recent activity as follows within CB > Plugin Management > CB Activity > Config > Recent > General.

Display: Everyone
Access: Everyone

Once done configure the activity tab to just show the activity of the profile owner within CB > Plugin Management > CB Activity > Config > Tab > General.

Display: Self Only
Access: Everyone

That should give you group only activity of everyone on the recent activity page and activity of the user displayed on the profile tab. Please keep in mind it's still not being used as designed; it's designed to be user activity.
