With the new CB Blogs 3.0 release blogging is simple, easy and fun!
Members can create and manage blogs directly from their CB user profile and can view other blogs by visiting other user profiles.
CB Blogs 3.0 provides Blog moderation by CB moderators. If blog approval is configured, your CB moderators will receive a notification approval message. The email includes the submitted blog title and links to the member profile and to the general blogs approval page.
CB Blogs can be configured to store blogs as Joomla articles. This way you can take advantage of Joomla content layouts to present your users' blogs on your website. And since blogs are Joomla articles, all Joomla content commenting solutions are applicable and can be used!
If you are using K2, you can choose to have user blogs stored as K2 content elements. This way you can build upon existing Community Builder and K2 integration and use K2 built-in commenting support for your CB Blogs!
Alternatively, CB Blogs also provides its own internal efficient storage engine for high volume blogs. This keeps blogs and articles separate and optimizes performance for each.
CB Blogs 3.0 supports blog categorization and Joomla Access Levels for individual blogs (including Joomla 2.5 ACL).

The CB Facebook Connect 1.9 and CB Twitter Connect 1.4 plugins have just been released as free upgrades for all Advanced, Professional and Developer members.
Both can be downloaded from the: Advanced Download area.
All identified bugs have been fixed and both plugin now support terms and conditions acceptance during the initial sign-up workflow.
The CB Twitter plugin now prompts user to provide a valid email address in order to complete sign-up (as the Twitter API does not provide email address). Normal CB email confirmation workflow is also supported for provided email address.
Upgrading is a simple install over existing previous versions. No changes need to be made on the Facebook or Twitter application side. Documentation has also been updated.
And as with all our CB plugins, these work natively on all versions of Joomla (Joomla 2.5.4 also)!
Community Builder 1.8 is required for both plugins.
The Joomlapolis Incubator has released a new CB Invites plugin version 2.0 with the invite code feature.
With this new release you can empower your existing members to send personalized invitations to their friends prompting them to join your website.
Each invitation is accompanied by a unique randomly generated invite code that is used to track successful invitation that have been converted to new membership events.
The invite code is a CB field that can also be marked as required during the registration process.
This way, you can easily create a membership site that only allows new registrations based on valid invite codes (sent by existing member invitations).
There is also a configuration sending to automatically create a connection between the two users involved (person inviting and person accepting invitation).

A new Incubator add-on CB Ajax Points field has just been released!
This cool CB plugin extends the integer fieldtype with Plus/Minus buttons on profile view for Ajax incrementing.
Just install it as a CB plugin and enable it to get a new Ajax Points field type in your CB Fields manager. Create as many field as you want and you can even configure the fields to support Joomla 2.5 ACL access views.
Profile editing allows you to directly input integer number (instead of incrementing or decrementing a click at a time).
It is very customizable with numerous button layouts and several different button images. It also supports minimum and maximum values in profile edit and ajax. Common use cases for this add-on are Karma fields, Points fields and Thank You fields.

CB Core Redirect 1.0 has just been released and is freely available for all members.
This Joomla 2.5/1.7 plugin redirects all frontend Joomla login and registration related URLs to their Community Builder equivalent links.
Just install it and publish it and any unauthorized access events will automatically be redirected to CB login or registration actions.
