What i hate with Phpbb Component by Websmurf, is using it own user registration.. Unable to Add themes, and so...
With martijn189 pugin and CB RC2 its diferent, Joomla+CB one application, phpbb2 other application, ))

Only that i need is user import script for user already registred in Joomla(CB)....

I am one of martijn's testers. The last version did a pretty good job with making newly registered (and newly deleteed) users synchronized with phpBB. At that point it did not start a phpBB session when logging into Joomla/CB. I did some digging and made a few suggestions on how to start and end sessions and I think he is currently coding it up.

I will take a look at what he has already coded and see if we can make a script to copy (synchronize) existing Joomla users with phpBB (he might have one already done also)... Is this the only direction you want to synchronize or do you need the ability to bring them into CB from phpBB? If so at what level do they come in... not-confirmed, confirmed, or approved?

Personally I only require Joomla/CB > phpBB....Vice versa is not important for me.

Personally, I'd need then from phpBB to CB as my site currently all runs on phpBB.

And i'd need all users, whatever the level.

Is there any news on this project?

Cant seem to locate a tracker for progress status...Is one avaliable?
