Forgot Login is not working

I'm not sure what more to advise. I've just tested your site on 3 separate computers with IE7, IE8, IE9, FF, and Chrome and all worked perfectly fine. I suspect this maybe an issue with your specific browser? See if your browser perhaps has an update available and try running with addons disabled to see if it'll then work.

Hi after I set the login page as default, now when any one try to login and hit login after enter the correct username and password got error message:





the login page comes back and we hit login again then it login to the site, also I have set default login page in the configuration but still it takes me sometimes to the login page.

On first login it always says your username and password is incorrect? Second login attempt works however?

I think I found what is the problem is about the forgot login issue:

The issue was in the most cases is the auto fill.

if some one use auto fill and then enter the security question the Reset Button will not work.

So to solve this problem is the user must type the username even if it popup for him in the auto fill he need to ignore that and type in the username, email and the security question

is there is anyway to have the "send username/password" button to work with autofill since most of the browsers save the usernames and emails. and most of the users got lazy and they choose the autofills instead writing the information again.

Otherwise, I will need to put a big font with red letters to let my users know to type in their information.

Shouldn't use auto fill for the forgot login (why would you have forgotten if you have auto fill?) as it won't fire the JS used on the forgot login page unless you've an extension that autofills and ensures JS handlers are executed. There's no fix for this, because whatever is autofilling isn't sending a browser event to say the input has changed or anything of the sort.
